The Pennsylvania Action Coalition (PA-AC) extends its sincere gratitude to nurses across Pennsylvania for your tireless dedication to our health and safety. On March 11, 2020 the World Health Organization declared coronavirus (COVID-19) a global pandemic. We know that nurses are working around the clock to combat this public health crisis in Pennsylvania and around the globe. Every day, nurses are on the front lines of patient care and as the most trusted profession, we look to nurses as heroes. In the midst of this pandemic, we cannot thank you enough.
PA-AC was founded in 2011 to create a healthier Pennsylvania through nursing leadership. We bring stakeholders from across disciplines together to support the nursing workforce in building a culture of health. We have been fortunate to work alongside you. During this difficult time, we are continuing to provide programming that is meaningful and advances issues that matter to you. As we are unable to convene in person, we are bolstering our remote opportunities for connection and content sharing. We are proud of what we have accomplished together, and know that during this period of uncertainty we will be resilient and continue to be the platform for amplifying the voices of nurses across our state.

When we launched the At the Core of Care podcast last year, we intended it to be a platform to share the stories of nurses across Pennsylvania. Now, more than ever, we need to ensure that people hear the perspective of nurses as you work to keep everyone in our state healthy during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
